Drawing from extensive experience in the retail, plantation and agriculture industries along with contemporary field research our strategy recognizes the specific needs and lacunae faced by low-income segments and introduces a new farm to store model to meet such needs. The farm to store model, seeks to create a supply side value chain, which shall culminate in the sale of value-added products on A&A’s unique online shopping platform “Services at Your Doorstep”. 

The proposed model will provide entrepreneurs/suppliers with the raw materials and technical know-how that they need to produce goods and services which shall be purchased by A&A. These items shall be processed into value added products which shall be sold via Services at Your Doorstep. A&A creates value chains, through the provision of raw materials, forward purchase agreements, the creation of supply chains, encouragement of entrepreneurship and the provision of education and technical knowledge. Thus, named a farm to store model, it creates a production process and multiple lines of revenue.

This model strives to create a holistic development solution, by collaborating together with the supplier/entrepreneur and holding their hand and guiding them to a mutually beneficial final outcome. The model is geared to generate multiple lines of revenue for both the supplier and the company. Such a model facilitates the overarching objective of greater economic inclusivity and sustainable development which will eventually culminate in the creation of vibrant self-sustainable local economies
