Standing around her shop Ms. S. Palihawadana proudly hosts her guests to celebrate her new contract with a state agency. Ms. S. Palihawadana runs a small laundry service which washes and presses clothes ranging from saris, to school uniforms to every day clothes. Known for her excellence, one of our Collaborators Ms. S. Palihawadana was supported with funds and know how to grow her business. With the financial literacy training she received from AACF Ms. S. Palihawadana is able to maintain accurate accounts and was able to submit a proposal to a government agency. Successfully winning the bid Ms. S. Palihawadana is now the official laundry for a government institution.
